Description:
At 315 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
New Ellenton, or near Aiken Mall, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Aiken, Aiken Mall, New Ellenton, Citizens Park, Gloverville, Aiken
State Park, Wagener, Windsor, Aiken Gopher Tortoise Heritage
Preserve, Boyd Pond Park, and Hopeland Gardens.
