Description:
At 910 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northwest of Pickens, or near Jocassee Gorges, moving east at
25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Keowee Toxaway State Park, Table Rock State Park, Jocassee Gorges,
Sunset, Pumpkintown, Nine Times, and Rocky Bottom.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
