Description:
At 416 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles south of Tonkawa to near Covington to 5
miles southeast of Bison. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Ponca City, Perry, Tonkawa, Garber, Covington, Billings, Kaw City,
Red Rock, Marshall, Marland, Fairmont, Kildare, Douglas, Kaw Lake,
Lucien, Sooner Lake, Ceres, and Hayward.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
