At 1223 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 2 miles southwest of Quinton to 12 miles northeast of Fort Towson. Movement was northeast at 65 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations in or near the path include... Kanima... Octavia... Whitefield... Panola... Cameron... Spiro... Big Cedar... Mc Curtain... Panama... Howe... Whitesboro... Lequire... Gans... Clayton Lake State Park... Bokoshe... Red Oak... Damon... Robbers Cave State Park... Quinton... Wilburton... This includes Interstate 40 in Oklahoma between mile markers 306 and 318.
