Description:
At 638 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Centerburg to near Johnstown to Canal Winchester,
moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Columbus, Newark, Reynoldsburg, Pickerington, Heath, Granville,
Pataskala, Canal Winchester, Groveport, Johnstown, Buckeye Lake,
Hebron, Utica, Harbor Hills, Granville South, Beechwood Trails,
Summit Station, Fairfield Beach, Etna, and New Albany.
This includes I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 110 and 132.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
central Ohio.
