At 1029 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Lewisburg, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Locations impacted include... Dayton, Springfield, Kettering, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Fairborn, Xenia, Troy, Trotwood, Piqua, Miamisburg, Vandalia, Englewood, Greenville, Urbana, Tipp City, Eaton, Bellbrook, Moraine, and New Carlisle. This includes the following Interstates... I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 11 and 57. I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 44 and 87. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for west central Ohio.
