At 440 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers associated with the cold front along a line extending from Eagle Rock to near Hollins to near Poages Mill to near Ararat. Movement was northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Roanoke... Lynchburg... Salem... Eden... Martinsville... Mount Airy... and Vinton.
