Description:
At 715 AM EDT, radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms
between Hillsville, Virginia, and Yadkinville, North Carolina,
moving northeast at 40 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm along with very heavy rain.

Mount Airy...
Elkin...
Fairview...
Flat Rock...
Yadkinville...
Hillsville...
and Jonesville.
Torrential rainfall may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.
Storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations
and available television stations for additional information and
possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
