Description: 
At 1249 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from Jerome to Kemper. Movement was southeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Lumberton, Elizabethtown, Fairmont, St. Pauls, Bladenboro, Fair Bluff, Lake View, Boardman, Bladen Community College, Ammon, Butters, Hestertown, Robeson Community College, White Oak, Smiths, Howellsville, Duart, Tolarsville, Cherry Grove, and Barnesville. This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 6 and 35.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for southeastern North Carolina...and northeastern South Carolina.
