Description:
At 835 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from Yadkinville to near
Cleveland to near Kannapolis. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Winston-Salem, High Point, Lexington, Albemarle, Troy, Badin Lake,
Thomasville, Clemmons, Biscoe, and Bermuda Run.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 84 and 109.
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 182 and 198.
