At 843 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles south of Biscoe, or 13 miles south of Troy, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Biscoe, Seagrove, Robbins, Ellerbe, Star, Candor, Norman, Steeds, Harpers Crossroads, and Highfalls. This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 31 and 60.
