At 318 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 10 miles northwest of Nashville, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Rocky Mount, Roanoke Rapids, Nashville, Louisburg, Warrenton, Norlina, Dortches, Littleton, Bunn, and Red Oak.
