Description:
At 600 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cypress Creek, or 15 miles east of Wallace, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, Wallace, New River Station, Half Moon, Pumpkin Center,
Camp Lejeune Center, Piney Green, Richlands, Kellum, Cypress Creek,
Midway Park, Catherine Lake, Chinquapin, Albert J Ellis Airport,
Richlands South, Haws Run, and Teachey.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
