At 416 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Comfort, or 9 miles north of Half Moon, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
New Bern, Havelock, James City, Trent Woods, River Bend, Richlands,
Maysville, Comfort, Tuscarora, Rhems, Petersburg, Croatan, Riverdale,
Catfish Lake, Neuse Forest, Fairfield Harbour, Richlands South,
Coastal Carolina Regional Airport, Bridgeton, and Loco VFD.
