Description:
At 926 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from Modena to near Montgomery
to near Greenwood Lake. Movement was east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Newburgh, Peekskill, Haverstraw, Suffern, Mahopac, Monroe, Lake
Carmel, Walden, West Point, Sloatsburg, Cold Spring, New Windsor,
Gardnertown, Greenwood Lake, and Pomona.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
