Description:
At 908 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Kinnelon to near
Basking Ridge to Somerville. Movement was northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Newark, Paterson, Elizabeth, Passaic, Bayonne, Wayne, Plainfield,
Bloomfield, Hackensack, Linden, New City, Orange, Bergenfield,
Paramus, and Ridgewood.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
