Description:
At 724 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Stewartsville, or 7 miles north of Plattsburg, moving northeast at 45
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Cameron, Plattsburg, Stewartsville, Osborn, and Turney.
This includes Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 49 and
60.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for north central
and northwestern Missouri.
