Description:
At 1253 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Liberal, or 9 miles northwest of Lamar, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Prairie State Park, Lamar, Liberal, Sheldon, Mindenmines, Montevallo,
Bronaugh, Jerico Springs, Lamar Heights, Milo, Irwin, Milford,
Oakton, Olympia, Wagoner, Iantha, Verdella, Filley, Cedarville, and
Sylvania.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for southwestern
and west central Missouri.
