Description:
At 648 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Water Valley, moving north at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Oxford, Water Valley, Holly Springs National Forest, Cambridge,
Harmontown, Etta, Springdale, Burgess, Tula, Denmark, Pinedale,
Velma, Laws Hill, Paris, Abbeville, Taylor, Malone, Keel, Poolville,
and Delay.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
