Description:
At 415 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Minter City, or 17 miles southwest of Charleston, moving east at 40
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Paynes, Glendora, Distall, Leverett, Whitehead, Swan Lake, Cascilla,
Albin, Tippo, and Rosebloom.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
northwestern Mississippi.
