Description:
At 411 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Sandy Springs, or 13 miles east of Baldwyn, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Red Bay, Belmont, Sandy Springs, Fairview, Marietta, Golden, Eastman,
Thrasher, Dennis, Moores Mill, Kirkville, Bounds Crossroads, and Hobo
Station.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
northeastern Mississippi.
