At 310 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Detroit to Prairie. Movement was east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Amory, Aberdeen, Smithville, Prairie, New Salem, New Wren, Hatley, Gattman, Quincy, Turon, Egypt, Wise Gap, Wren, Strong, Muldon, Binford, Sipsey Fork, New Hamilton, Becker, and Splunge.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CST for northeastern Mississippi.
