A strong system will move through the Dakotas into Minnesota Thursday evening into Friday morning, bringing accumulating snow and gusty winds. Snow accumulations will range between 2 and 6 inches, with gusty winds of 50 to 60 mph possible. Gusty winds combined with accumulating snow will reduce visibility. There is a 20 percent chance for blizzard conditions within northeast North Dakota and the Red River Valley. While there is potential for significant winter and wind impacts, there remains large uncertainty in location and severity of impacts.
