Description: 
HAZARDS...A lake effect snow band which can rapidly reduce visibility to less than one half mile. Additional snowfall amounts of 2-4" are possibly under this band. LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 904 AM EDT, a lake effect snow band was near Au Train, or 11 miles west of Grand Island. The lake effect snow band was nearly stationary. LOCATIONS IMPACTED... This lake effect snow band will will impact M-28 between the Marquette/Alger County Line and Munising through the morning. Small fluctuations to the east and west can be expected with this band through the morning hours. Lake effect snow should diminish early in the afternoon. SAFETY INFO... Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in lake effect snow bands. Be prepared for snow or ice covered roads and rapidly changing visibility. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
