At 955 AM EDT...An area of ocean effect snow extending from Brunswick to Wiscasset and then inland to Kennebec and Androscoggin Counties will continue to bring localized moderate to heavy snow. Additional accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible resulting in localized amounts around 4 inches. Locations impacted include... Belgrade, Wales, Whitefield, Bath, Oakland, Fayette, Livermore Falls, Pittston, Rome, Winslow, Mount Vernon, Lewiston, Chelsea, Boothbay, Bowdoin, Randolph, West Bath, Winthrop, Georgetown, and Brunswick. This includes the following highways... Interstate 295 between mile markers 14 and 51. Interstate 95 between mile markers 76 and 131, and between mile markers 134 and 136. This also includes... Reid State Park and Popham Beach State Park. Peaks Island, Long Island, Cousins Island, Bailey Island, and Orrs Island. * Localized Snowfall accumulation of 4 inches is expected in this area of heavy snow.
