At 856 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Bayou Sorrel to 7 miles south of Intracoastal City. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... New Iberia, Franklin, Patterson, Jeanerette, Freshwater City, Cypremort Point, Pecan Island, Burns Point, Avery Island, Belle River, Intracoastal City, Baldwin, Ellerslie, Patterson Memorial Airport, Glencoe, Lydia, Sorrel, Cote Blanche Island, Lake Fausse Pointe, and Charenton.
