Description: 
At 908 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 15 miles southwest of Ringgold to 12 miles southwest of Coushatta, or extending from 17 miles northeast of Mansfield to 13 miles southeast of Mansfield, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Coushatta, Ringgold, Heflin, Martin, Hall Summit, Saline, Lucky, Ashland, Castor, Edgefield, Jamestown, Womack, Loggy Bayou, Crichton, Ninock, Grand Bayou, Armistead, Lake Bistineau South, Hanna and Evelyn.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
