At 443 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Cannonsburg, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Huntington, Ashland, Coal Grove, Cannonsburg, Kenova, Catlettsburg, Ceredo, Princess, Coalton, South Point, Burlington, Summit, and Mavity. This includes the following highways... Interstate 64 in Kentucky between mile markers 182 and 191. Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 1 and 6.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for northeastern Kentucky...southeastern Ohio...and central and western West Virginia.
