At 1042 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from Mallie to Elko to Nolansburg to near Coldiron to Black Snake to near Cubage. Movement was northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Pikeville, Whitesburg, Harlan, Middlesboro, Letcher, Bath, Cumberland, Jenkins, Loyall, Elkhorn City, Evarts, Wheelwright, Fleming-Neon, Lynch, Pippa Passes, Benham, Vicco, Wallins Creek, Blackey, and Cody. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS... U.S. Highway 23 in Lethcher County between mile markers 1 and 7. U.S. Highway 23 in Pike County between mile markers 0 and 19. U.S. Highway 25 East in Bell County between mile markers 1 and 11.
