Description: 
At 601 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sharpsburg, or 10 miles north of Mount Sterling, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Flemingsburg, Sharpsburg, Pecks Ridge, Judy, Reynoldsville, Tilton, Odessa, Pebble, Ringos Mills, Hillsboro, Craintown, Sherburne, Wallingford, Grange City, Bethel, Plummers Landing, Poplar Plains, Goddard, and Oakley.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for east central Kentucky.
