Description: 
At 259 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Hatfield Station, or 7 miles northwest of Williamson, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Rural, Moree, Turkey Creek, Hatfield Station, Heisey, Heenan, Whitepost, Conder, Oppy, Piso, Laura, Varney, Jarad, Threeforks, and Pilgrim.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for southeastern and northeastern Kentucky.
