Description:
At 713 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fount, or 8 miles northeast of Barbourville, moving northeast at 60
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Barbourville, Harlan, Pineville, Manchester, Hyden, Loyall, Wallins
Creek, Sandy Fork, Hoskinston, Bledsoe, Brightshade, Varilla, Swan
Lake, Coldiron, Ponza, Goose Rock, Black Snake, Gausdale, Erose, and
Bush.
THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
Hal Rogers Parkway between mile markers 19 and 51.
U.S. Highway 25 East in Bell County between mile markers 7 and 18.
U.S. Highway 25 East in Knox County between mile markers 1 and 22.
