Description:
At 915 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles north of Neosho Rapids, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to outdoor objects and vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Osage City, Lyndon, Lebo, Neosho Rapids, Reading, Olivet, and Melvern
Lake.
This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 136 and 154.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for east central
Kansas.
