At 605 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Vermilion Regional Airport, or 9 miles northeast of Danville, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Covington, Williamsport, West Lebanon, State Line City, Rainsville, and Foster. This includes Interstate 74 near mile marker 1.
