Description:
At 852 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Bunker Hill to near
Windfall to 6 miles northeast of Georgetown. Movement was northeast
at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Marion, Hartford City, Gas City, Upland, Fairmount, Montpelier,
Jonesboro, Sweetser, Swayzee, Van Buren, Matthews, Sims, Converse,
Warren, Amboy, Fowlerton, Shamrock Lakes, Mcnatts, Landess, and Mount
Zion.
This includes Interstate 69 in Indiana between mile markers 252 and
277.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for
central, north central, northeastern and east central Indiana.
