Description:
At 430 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Omega, or 11 miles southwest of Tifton, moving north at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Tifton, Omega, Norman Park, Ty Ty, Phillipsburg, Unionville, Poulan,
Terrell, Sumner, Hillsdale, Chula, Scooterville, Tift Airport,
Crosland, Shingler, and Sunsweet.
Instruction:
