At 128 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Townsend, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Darien, Tibet, Jones, Midway, Riceboro, Pine Harbor, Eulonia, Crescent, Shellman Bluff and South Newport. This includes I-95 in Georgia near mile marker 50...and between mile markers 47 and 49...and between mile markers 51 and 81.
