At 607 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles southwest of Newton, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Newton, Pelham, Camilla, Baconton, Vada, Flint, Hopeful, Red Store Crossroads, Harrells Still, Lester, Freeman, Mitchell Co A/P, Branchville, and Greenough.
