Description:
At 913 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Anniston, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Anniston, Oxford, Jacksonville, Piedmont, Cobb Town, Forney, West
End-Cobb Town, Fort McClellan, Saks, Weaver, Hobson City, Blue
Mountain, Pleasant Gap, Alexandria, Jacksonville State University,
Oxford Lake, Mars Hills, Eastern Weiss Lake, Coleman Lake And
Campground, and Choccolocco.
