Description:
At 645 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Davisville, or 9 miles north of Union Springs, moving north at 15
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Tuskegee, Union Springs, Notasulga, Franklin, Liverpool, Franklin
Field, Lake Tuskegee, Tuskegee National Forest, Davisville,
Warriorstand, Sedgefield, I 85 Rest Area, Uphapee Creek, Fort Davis,
and Moton Field Municipal Airport.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
