Description:
At 1153 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Uniontown to 9 miles south of Central
Mills to near Yellow Bluff to near Fulton. Movement was east at 45
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Selma, Uniontown, Selmont-West Selmont, Orrville, Faunsdale, Bogue
Chitto, Consul, Central Mills, Old Cahaba Park, Dannelly Reservoir,
Dallas County Horse Arena, Belknap, Dallas Lake, Memorial Stadium,
Marion Junction, Potter Station, Carleys, Carlowville, Safford, and
Hazen.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for south central,
central and southwestern Alabama.
