At 1209 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lay Lake Dam, or 9 miles northeast of Clanton, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Lyle, Mitchell Lake, Dollar, Unity, Gap Of The Mountain, Moriah,
Higgins Ferry Park, Lay Lake Dam, Lay Lake, Waxahatchee Creek, and
Paint Creek.
