At 706 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Fyffe, or 7 miles west of Rainsville, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and up to penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Albertville, Scottsboro, Fort Payne, Boaz, Guntersville, Rainsville, Henagar, Crossville, Sylvania, and Fyffe.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for north central and northeastern Alabama.
