Description:
At 115 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Booneville, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Corinth, Booneville, Iuka, Burnsville, Jumpertown, Glen, Thrashers,
Hinkle, Leedy, Farmington, Rienzi, Strickland, Jobes, Gaston, Hazard
Switch, Walker Siding, Holts Spur, and Altitude.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CST for
northeastern Mississippi.
