Description:
At 105 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Paris, or near Water Valley, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Water Valley, Springdale, Tula, Denmark, Pinedale, Paris, Thaxton,
Taylor, Toccopola, Altus, Esperanza, Delay, Lafayette Springs,
Yocona, and Keel.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CST for
northeastern and northwestern Mississippi.
