At 1136 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles south of Whitesville to 6 miles southwest of Hartford to near Powderly. Movement was east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hartford, Morgantown, Casey, Beaver Dam, Centertown, Mchenry, Rockport, Rochester, Steff, and Mining City.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CST for south central and central Kentucky.
