Description:
At 1056 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Olney to Cadiz to 8 miles northwest of Big
Rock. Movement was east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Hopkinsville, Oak Grove, Dawson Springs, Cadiz, Fort Campbell,
Clarksville, Nortonville, Pembroke, Mortons Gap, Crofton, Graham,
Cobb, White Plains, St. Charles, Lafayette, Hawkins, and Herndon.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 57 and 92.
Interstate 69 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 85 and 108.
Western Kentucky Parkway between Mile Markers 39 and 50.
Pennyrile Parkway between Mile Markers 1 and 34.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CST for
western, south central and northwestern Kentucky.
