Description:
At 843 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Marmaduke to near Brookland. Movement was east
at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Paragould, Kennett, Leachville, Rector, Senath, Marmaduke, Oak Grove
Heights, Cardwell, Hornersville, Arbyrd, Lafe, Buckeye, Mounds,
Halliday, Arkmo, West Kennett, Leonard, Bethel, Noland, and Bertig.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 PM CST for
eastern Arkansas...and southeastern Missouri.
