Description:
At 813 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near College City to near Swifton. Movement was
east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Jonesboro, Paragould, Bono, Lake City, Bay, Brookland, Monette,
Caraway, Marmaduke, Crowleys Ridge State Park, Lake Frierson State
Park, Oak Grove Heights, Cardwell, Arbyrd, Lafe, Cash, O'Kean, Egypt,
Evening Star, and Beech Grove.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 PM CST for
eastern Arkansas...and southeastern Missouri.
