Description:
At 741 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Tipton to 8 miles east of Martinsville.
Movement was northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Indianapolis, Anderson, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Greenwood,
Lawrence, Greenfield, Beech Grove, Elwood, Alexandria, Tipton,
Southport, Westfield, Cumberland, Cicero, McCordsville, Pendleton,
Fortville, and Ingalls.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 65 between mile markers 99 and 118.
Interstate 69 between mile markers 200 and 223.
Interstate 70 between mile markers 77 and 105.
Interstate 74 between mile markers 93 and 102.
